Setup your netgear range extender WN3500 rp easily using IOS. Setting up is easier than you think.
192 168 1 250/mywifiext is not your regular website. It is a local Web address used to set up your Netgear range extender. When Any user enters mywifiext.net in their respective web browser they are redirected to a page where they are asked to enter their Username and Password to log in and there you have to enter these default Login Credentials.

Since mywifiext.net is not just like your regular website and is especially a local website for Netgear users to access and set up their devices so you must be connected with the Netgear device wirelessly or through an ethernet cable to access this site.
Here are a few steps to setup WN3500 rp Your Extender Once Login into the extender Mywifiext:-
Step 1. Place the extender in the same room as the WiFi Router.
Step 2.Make sure you have a live internet connection coming from the main router. Also, make sure that the router is WPS capable.
Note: WPS does not support WEP security.
Step 3.Plug the extender into an electrical outlet and wait for the Power LED Image to become solid. If it does not turn ON
Step 4.Press and hold the WPS button for about 2 seconds on the side panel of the extender. The WPS LED Image will start to blink.
Within 2 minutes, press the WPS button on your router.
Step 5. The WPS LED Imageon the Extender should turn to solid green and the Router Link LED Image should also turn solid green to let you know that your extender is connected to your main network.
Step 6. Move the extender to your preferred location, but make sure it is in between the router and the wireless devices to get a good signal.
Step 7.You can now connect your wireless devices to the Extender’s new SSID. The extender’s wireless network name (SSID) changed to your existing WiFi network name with '_EXT' at the end. The password to be used will be the same WiFi password as the one on your main router.
Example:
Existing WiFi Network name (SSID): MyHomeNetwork
Step 8. New Extender WiFi Network name (SSID): MyHomeNetwork_EXT
Note: If your wireless devices have a WPS feature; just press the WPS button on the extender and within 2 minutes, press the WPS button on your wireless device to instantly connect them without typing the wireless password.
