AutoGPT: An Interesting Autonomous GPT-4 Experiement
Auto GPT-4 is an “autonomous GPT-4 experiment”, or in other words, just letting GPT-4 do whatever it wants by giving it access to things like the browser, code interpreters, and a lot of other things. Of course, you have to provide a basic description of the “role of the AI” and provide its goals, and it acts under those parameters, so it’s not really autonomous, but it is still a very cool project. You can implement a simpler version of this yourself in Python, but don’t let it scare you into thinking it’s AGI. It’s not. Happy building.
