Considering how popular the magnetic phone mounts have become over the past few years I thought it would be interesting to find a magnetic fast wireless car charger that would allow me to charge my phone by simply placing my phone on the charger. I found the BaseUS Wireless Magnetic Car Charger. Believe it or not, it actually works. HOwever, there are some small issues that come along with wireless charging your phone in the car. The first issue is heat. Smartphones tend to get very hot when using wireless charging, especially with phone that support fast wireless charging. This means that depending on the temperature inside your car you may only get a few minutes of charging before charging stops because your phones temperature is too high. The second issue is charging speed. Even though fast wireless charging is faster than regular wireless charging, it's still not as fast as using a quick charger like the one that comes with your phone. This means that if you're using an app that drains your battery quickly, the wireless charger may not be able to keep up with how fast you battery is draining.
