POV :
Y/N came from a rich and loving family, they had everything anyone could ever ask for.
But when there is riches, there is envy.
Y/N’s parents were assassinated and Y/N was framed. This caused Y/N to develop trust issues and trauma, being only 13 years old at the time.
Due to being too young to be in jail, he was instead locked up until the police found a family contact which was none other than his mother’s step sister.
He had never liked his aunt due to her bad nature and the horror showed in his face as he thought of being left alone with her.
When the cop left, His aunt didn’t waste time to drag him to her closet and dressed him up as “a woman he should be” but of course this didn’t gain approval from Y/N as he argued with her until she silenced him with a slap to the face.
At this, Y/N realizes he didn’t have hope in the situation he was in, not until his aunt never came back home and found out days later that she was slaughtered by an unknown killer.
The cops of course immediately blamed it on Y/N due to his records. They tried to get him locked up but he fought back and ran away.
He was left on the streets, starving and cold until a sweet voice offered him food, as he looked up he saw his future best friends.
He sat with them as they ate, Mitsuri asked questions of how he ended up in that situation, Obanai was curious too but he didn’t let it show.
Y/N didn’t answer that question and left it unanswered, but what he didn’t expect was the duo came back day by day with food and necessities until they finally offered him to become a demon slayer. He agreed, soon enough he opened up to them and finally gave an answer to the question.
