If someone is rude to you...

1. Be direct about it. Let them know what they did, how it made you feel, and try to understand what is going on with them. Sometimes people are floored by people who are direct in handling issues and conflict. Make sure you are direct in a respectful manner. You don't want to end up creating more conflict.

2. If someone is making fun of you, join in on the fun. People don't always know how to respond when you fully embrace yourself. It takes away the fun from people making fun of you when you fully embrace yourself.

3. Ignore them. Sometimes when people make rude comments to you they are simply seeking to get a reaction out of you. By ignoring them you aren't giving them that satisfaction.

4. If you use the bathroom, flush the toilet.
