Logger Vick has purchased a Super Lazy Worm which, once attached to someone, will render him or her lazy and weak. Logger Vick arrives at the forest with the worm and starts logging. The bears spot him and try to interrupt his work. Logger Vick throws the worm at Bramble but Briar kicks it back onto Vick’s back. Under the influence of the lazy worm, Logger Vick falls into a deep slumber and is carried back to his cabin by the bears. Briar and Brambles then take a break from their guard duty.
Later, Fabian accidentally knocks the worm off Logger Vick’s head, which brings him around. Logger Vick is furious at being tricked with his own weapon. He pretends to sleep in the forest to confuse the bears while keeping on with his work when they are not looking. Later, he uses honey to trap Bramble and attempts to feed him with the worm. Briar arrives to rescue his brother. When they are fighting for the worm, Logger Vick accidentally swallows the worm and falls asleep. Briar then unlocks the iron cage and releases Bramble.
