Rambo destroys several tanks with a light machine gun and a rocket launcher in the Rambo animated series. This occurs in the Rambo: The Force of Freedom mini-series episode 2 titled, “The Angel of Destruction,” which aired in 1986.

Sergeant Havoc (voiced by Peter Cullen) takes out several soldiers on a turret by tossing up a grenade 💣 and says, “That takes care of them.” Rambo replies, “Two can play at that game, Havoc.” Havoc throws up another grenade which Rambo catches then tosses back. Havoc ducks and closes the lid of his tank to avoid the explosion 💥. Havoc advances forward in his tank so Rambo fires on it with his signature light machine gun 🔫 with long ammo belt. Rambo is able to take out the treads of the tank, it ends up engulfed in flames 🔥 and flipping over. Sergeant Havoc and the other men inside flee. Rambo says, “See you around, Havoc.”

Suddenly Gripper fires at Rambo using an attack helicopter 🚁. Rambo grabs on to the bottom of the helicopter while it lifts off. Gripper tries to fire at Rambo but Rambo kicks the gun out of his hand. The bullets ricochet and destroy the rear rotary blade of the helicopter. Rambo lets go of the helicopter and avoids falling to his death by grabbing and swinging around on a conveniently placed metal bar.

Three tanks fire at Rambo on the ground but all miss 😂. Then someone tosses Rambo a rocket launcher which he uses to destroy one tank. Rambo says, “And don’t come back.”

What did you guys think of this scene? It was interesting to see Rambo use some of his signature weapons. The show clearly had to tone down the violence because it was made for kids but this was a well done scene.
