Notes for You:: FixedUpdate() Function in Unity - Unity Scripting API MonoBehaviour Tutorial 07
- is called after every predefined fixed time interval.
Observe:- Edit Menu - Project Settings - Time - Fixed Time Step - 0.02 sec.
- is independent of game’s frame refresh rate. Whether game is running at 30FPS, 60FPS or 100FPS does not matter; it always called after every 0.02 sec.
- is best for physics based updates.
Example:
- move game object by applying some force.
- rotate game object by applying some torque.
etc.
Note: Update methods are executed only if script is enabled.

{
Debug.Log ("FixedUpdate");
}
