How to Render a Transparent Background in Blender
This Blender Tutorial will cover the steps to render an image with a transparent background. We will first make the film transparent in the render properties panel. Then ensure we are outputting an image that supports an alpha channel. We will discuss what is and is not possible when rendering an animation with a transparent background in Blender.
Images with transparent background can be created in Blender. If we are using an HDRI we can have the light from the HDRI still affect the scene even when the background is transparent. Then we can overlay our transparent image onto anything we want.
