Fast downhill trails and big gap jumps - The ultimate MTB tyre test! I ride 4 different Good Year tires on downhill trails, huge dirt jumps, urban MTB freeride and a crazy bonus send on some road bike tyres, which tires would you choose?
I test out all of my Good Year tyres in Malaga on as an excuse to hit loads of different riding spots on my new Canyon Spectral starting with a sick downhill track in Mijas which was super rocky but fast flowing with a few technical sections dotted down the hill side, for this test I use the Newton tyres which are made for downhill and enduro riding. We then moved on to the sickest jump spot ever and switched to my favorite tyres, the escape's. The escape tyres are aimed at light enduro riding and hard xc but the for dirt jumps and urban freeride they are perfect and that's why I love them. From here we head into town and switch to the Peak XC tyres which are for cross country riding but the lightweight build and low tread pattern makes them awesome for urban riding, which as you know Is one of my favourite disciplines. From here we move on to the Connector tyre which is for gravel biking, so I take them to a a crazy final riding spot! Which one would you choose?
