120 mm M829A2 APFSDS-T Vs Leopard 2 Turret # Armor Piercing Simulation Part-1
This video presents 120 mm M829A2 APFSDS-T penetration against Leopard 2 A5 tank Turret. It is found that, the projectile is successfully able to penetrate the front turret bracket as well as half of the NERA plates. The simulation is not completely converged and hence second part will be further analyzed with higher time period so that we can see all NERA plates penetration. The video highlights various penetration angle. The assumption are mentioned at the beginning of the video.
