Intro to Video Game Animation: AnimStudent Reel, Spring Term 2020.
In Intro to Video Game Animation at AnimSchool, students learn what it takes to work in the ever-changing gaming industry and deliver assignments that are set in an Unreal game development pipeline. Students coming out of the courses will have essential demo reel material required for most video game animator positions for gameplay and cinematics.
Students learn game theory, engines, and a basic understanding of the pipeline. They will create player and enemy animations, using AnimSchool's game character rigs.
It's about GAMING! Each week students will export their work from Maya into the Unreal engine, where they will learn about Blueprints and how to make their animations feel responsive.
