Harmonic Distortion: Introduction
I am rolling out a lecture series on harmonic distortion. The first few videos will address the subject in general terms. The content is designed to reduce engineering down into simpler concepts to help you understand what harmonic distortion is, how it affects amps and help you make informed decisions about the type of tube amps you want to buy, build or modify.
The last videos will address three methods to calculate harmonic distortion: graphical, Taylor Series and a discrete Fourier transform (DFT). I will set the problem up, and work through all the step.
