Are you tring to create deployment certificates to sign a PKG file to deploy to the Apple App Store for MacOS? Here is a quick overview of the process that worked for me. I will probably release a longer video soon.

You need an installer signing identity; typically this is named Mac Installer Distribution (for submission to the Mac App Store) or Developer ID Installer (for independent distribution).
