This video will cover step-by-step instructions on how to host a static website with AWS S3 and Cloudfront.
I have tried to cover the below topics in the same sequence:
Introduction
Setting up accounts in AWS, Cloudflare, DNS, etc
-S3 bucket introduction, creation, upload code.
Enable static website hosting.
Bucket policy.
Cloudflare and DNS record sets.
Cloudfront introduction.
ACM(Amazon certificate manager).
Creation of Certificate.
Certificate validation.
Creation of CloudFront distribution.
key points to remember while creating the distribution.
Add CNAME in Cloudflare for the distribution.
Summary of what's been done so far.
Pricing structure for all the services that we have used.
Important troubleshooting steps.
If you have followed the video all the way up to the end then your website should be up and running on your root domain, if not then you can re-visit the last section of the video where I have explained important troubleshooting steps. This is my first video and I still have a lot of room for improvement but I hope this video would be a great learning experience for you even if you are a beginner with AWS.
