Target Audience
This activity is targeted toward physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, rehabilitation/physical therapy providers and other clinicians in the practice of family medicine, emergency medicine, internal medicine, neurology and neurosurgery.

Statement of Need
The goal of this activity is to provide the latest updates on neurological research, literature, advancing technology and available treatment option that can be vital to maximizing patient outcomes.
Practitioners and clinicians need to be aware of the latest neurological guidelines and advancements to effectively treat patients who present with neurological symptoms and disorders.

Objectives
At the conclusion of this lecture, the participant will be able to:
1) Develop a practical approach to evaluating the patient with a length dependent symmetric polyneuropathy.
2) Become familiar with first tier neuropathic pain medications.
3) Become familiar with the differences in type 1 and type 2 diabetic neuropathies.
