In the Paris Paralympics 2024, India’s Navdeep Singh won a gold medal in the Men’s Javelin F41 Category. He had initially won a silver medal with a throw of 47.32 metres but it was later upgraded to gold. Iran’s Beit Sadegh had won the gold medal but he was disqualified over his “unsporting conduct”. Singh has also broken the record of China’s Pengxiang Sun, set during the Tokyo Paralympics In 2021.
