This is part A of 13th session of Effective Teaching/Learning of Computer Programming workshop arranged for teachers. It was delivered by Prof. Deepak Phatak from IIT Bombay.
In this session he talked about the processor technology, significance of clock speed, world’s first stored program, memory of the first computer, type casting in C, dynamic allocation of memory and 'Recursion' in C. he also asked quiz questions to participant using clicker and also showed the participants responses of this quiz questions during this session.

This Effective Teaching/Learning of Computer Programming workshop for teachers was conducted from Dec 14 to Dec 24, 2009, under T10KT project, sponsored by NMEICT, MHRD, Government of India, New Delhi.
This workshop had been arranged for teachers at various Remote Centers. A large number of participating teachers were assembled at nearest Remote Centers of their colleges where IIT Bombay faculty delivered live lectures from IIT Bombay in distance mode through EDUSAT and
A-VIEW software.
