Hi my name is Steve Johnson and I believe I'm the only person in the state of Kentucky who’s duly licensed as a pediatrician in a child psychologist. After working for several years as a child psychologist I realized that a lot of kids behavior and emotional issues were identified in elementary school and opportunities to intervene at a younger age had been missed. I ended up going back into medical school to become a pediatrician so that I could start working with families and children from birth so that I'd be able to address both physical and emotional child health needs. When I’m not at work most of my time is spent with my family including my wife and my three kids. I really enjoy playing, watching and coaching sports and this past summer I coached my son's swim team. I'll be coaching my daughter's soccer team this fall. I’m really looking forward to working as a pediatrician for Norton where I'll be able to help kids stay healthy and achieve their full potential.
