Today I'm pleased to bring you something that I've been wanting to show you for so long, a very impressive discovery that I made last year when I was working intensively with KH Re:CoM. The big discovery is that this game has assets from Musashi: Samurai Legend, a previous title from Square Enix.

I was refraining to show it until I had more information and until I was sure of the work methodology that I was going to use for this concrete showcase. You probably don't know about it but in fact KH Re:CoM has new maps in its HD ReMix version, maps that have been hidden and unaccesible until now.

Last year when I was trying to do a Room Mod on Re:CoM I figured out some new worlds folders that didn't make sense to me, at first I thought that would be repeated stuff or just empty maps or whatever, what I didn't know was that this game has a lot of test areas.

Imagine my surprise when I opened the first area from the world featured in this video (the 22nd floor) and that forest appeared, I almost had a heart attack thinking that it was some kind of early BBS map for Enchanted Dominion or Land of Departure. After checking it properly I discovered that it was from the game Musashi: Samurai Legend. Then everything started to make more sense.

I decided to investigate these files and take note of everything that I could so I started working opening more of these maps. Unfortunately there are worlds that are empty and some non-working areas (as I suspected) so I'm actually hoping that those may be filled and fixed in the upcoming PC version.

Btw, I'm very sorry for those who exptected a fun video, but this was made with other purposes, documentation and research (and of course I tried to make it as fun as I could). This video features PS3 and PS4 footage. You'll be able to differentiate by looking at the friends cards, they are from the PS4 recordings.
