This is easily the most overrated devil fruit in all of One Piece. It’s a fruit that at one point was shown to not only have the ability to overpower not only Luffy, but also Zoro at the same time. It’s a Zoan type devil fruit with the power to turn the user into a wild beast. This is a devil fruit that was introduced to us all the way back in water 7.. It was first seen in episode 246 to be exact. This devil fruit is rob lucci’s devil fruit. The Neko Neko no Mi or The Cat Cat fruit. This fruit was seen to have been fully awakened by Lucci in Egghead. And like all Zoan devil fruits this fruit allows the user a sudden increase in strength, agility and durability. The level of which it increases does alter depending on the form used.. But the biggest issue with this fruit and scale Lucci as a whole comes from his time on Egghead, where Oda used a Gear 5 Luffy to hype his return. Lucci went toe to toe vs Gear 5 without an issue, but just a couple chapters later was seen struggling against Zoro. meaning unless you scale Zoro to Gear 5 Luffy level, which I do not, this doesn’t make sense. So even with all the enhanced physical attributes that an awakened devil fruit offers, he's still only commander level. Which to me just shows how weak this devil fruit really is.
