So you have a black-and-white photo, and you want to make it colorful? That’s easy. Let me show you how to do it in under a minute using Photoshop’s Colorize Neural Filter. Let’s jump in!
First, open your black-and-white photo in Photoshop. Just go to File, Open and select your image.
Now, go to Filter, Neural Filters and toggle on Colorize. If it’s your first time, you may need to download the filter—it’s quick! Photoshop will automatically add color to your photo, and just like that, most of the work is done.
Want to tweak it? Use the Focal Points tool to adjust specific areas—just click where you want to change the color and pick a new one. You can also adjust the saturation and brightness in the Adjustments panel. When you’re happy, select Output as a New Color Layer and click OK.
And that’s it—your black-and-white photo is now full of life!
