Micro-CT scan of live Colorado Potato Beetle
A new technique in micro-CT scanning has been developed at Western University, Canada, allowing researchers to view the insides of live insects. This a one-week-old male Colorado Potato Beetle, placed in temporary suspended animation for scanning. (See at 0:42 mark the insect's tracheal system!)
