Software Developers. My journey to Engineering Management and to the role of Director of Engineering has been interesting. I have learned much on the way and enjoyed most of it.
I was surprised about the amount of soft skills required such as dealing with emotions, resolving personal conflicts and bridging the gap between product, engineering and design.
