There are over 15,000 modules on the Terraform public registry! How do you select the right one for you? Microsoft has started Azure Verified Modules for Terraform to help you find modules that are written with a consistent interface, actively maintained, and supported by folks at Microsoft. When you need to build on Azure with Terraform, these modules should be your first stop, but don't just take my word for it!
For the first time, I have a guest joining me on Terraform Tuesday. Matt White is a Senior Cloud Solution Architect at Microsoft and one of the maintainers of the Azure Verified Modules project. He walks me through the genesis of AVM, how you can take AVM for a spin, and how you can contribute to current and future modules.
In the video we cover:
🌮 What are Azure Verified Modules?
🌮 How do they differ from regular modules?
🌮 How do you get started with AVM?
🌮 How can you contribute?
