It’s what separates your smart phone camera from a true DSLR or Mirrorless camera. Dynamic range is the difference between the darkest spot in your photo and the brightest spot in your photo.
As landscape photographers, dynamic range is SUPER important. Since you’ll want to capture great sunsets and sunrises, you’ll be demanding the most out of your camera to capture the bright sun in contrast with the dark foreground. Next time you are buying a camera, look for one with the most dynamic range possible!
