Opening 65 Year Old Hot Chocolate & Crackers from a Fallout Shelter!
The hot chocolate mix was in solid form you had to break apart to mix in liquid and then drink. It was really tough to break up which you can kinda see and it did not really fully dissolve in the hot water either. It smelled pretty gross and only very faintly like a hot cocoa you would recognize today. This tin also included Blackberry jam which was leaking already so to keep it from exploding all over me I left it alone. Also came with a handful of crackers to eat with the jam. Seems like this would have been a nice survival ration snack 60 years ago, what do you think?
