How map() and reduce() Array method works in JavaScript

In this video we are going to implement our own version of JavaScript inbuilt Array methods - map() and reduce().

Mind that the actual implementation is way more complex than our version. Our motive to do this is only to understand the workings of the map and reduce Array methods in a better way.

Array.prototype.map()
Array.prototype.reduce()
Array.prototype.forEach()
Array.prototype.filter()

Challenge
This video covers only map and reduce methods. I challenge you to implement similar versions for forEach and filter Array methods.
