How To Fastboot OEM Unlock & Lock Bootloader Android Nexus 7
TUTORIAL-How to fastboot oem unlock & relock the bootloader in fastboot mode Google nexus 7 android device using adb tool, ADT\SDK Bundle. OEM lock & relock your android device's bootloader by booting into fastboot mode. Connecting your mobile device and typing into the terminal window: (fastboot oem unlock) - THIS WILL ERASE ALL YOUR USER DATA and possible void warranty and change the tamper flag from false to true. So do this at your own risk! When you re-lock the bootloader it DOES NOT wipe any data, but when you want to unlock it again, you must run (fastboot oem unlock) again, which will wipe the data AGAIN. You can also enter the bootloader by powering off your device then turn it back on and press and hold the volume down button and hold the power button down at the same time until the tablet turns on. That will get you into the bootloader fastboot mode. Other nexus devices have different key combinations to enter into fastboot from a powered off state. If you are not a developer and do not flash often I recommend to re-lock the bootloader.
