Known as the 'fake heiress,' Sorokin gained notoriety for posing as a wealthy German socialite named Anna Delvey. She was convicted in 2019 for defrauding banks, hotels, and friends. Although she was eliminated during the first round in September, Sorokin expressed her relief at performing without the pressure of competition, saying she was happy to dance again.
