On our first day in West Yellowstone we visited the Grizzly & Wolf Discovery Center. They rescue nuisance bears from Yellowstone and the wolves were born in captivity as 'program animals' to teach the public about them. There are other animals in the park such as hawks and river otters! It's a nice introduction to the animal in the Yellowstone area.
