WBLS 107.5 New York - Wendy Williams - 2003

Before Wendy Williams became the Diva of daytime, she was a on air radio personality.

Her radio career began as a morning show intern for Matt Siegel morning show at Kiss 108 in Boston. She later poped up at 1450 WOL Washington, DC, and then, made it to the big time, hosting shows at Hot 97 WQHT, 95.5 WPLJ, & 98.7 Kiss WRKS, New York. With each stop, she would a little more outrageous with her on air persona. From 1998 to 2001, she was hosting her show on Power 99 WUSL. But by 2001, it was back to New York, where she hosted a show that was almost all talk in afternoon drive, The Wendy Williams Experience on 107.5 WBLS. She was a sensation on the radio, becoming the most popular afternoon show in NYC. So popular was her show, that it became nationaly syndicated. By 2008, Wendy was offered a daytime TV talk show. She did both the radio & TV show for a while, but in 2009, she walked away for radio, to devote all her time to TV.
