Learn about All of the Camera Shot Sizes in film, from extreme wide establishing shots to extreme close ups!
The more aesthetically and dramatically effective your collection of shots are, the more impactful of an experience or story you will construct for you audience. And typically, the first thing people think of when setting up their shot, is the Shot Size! Shot size or field of view is determined by how much of the frame your subject occupies in relation to the environment that surrounds them. For me, I like to break shot sizes up into 4 basic categories: Wide Shots, Medium Shots and Close Ups. This is Part One of my cinematography, or Filmmaking Techniques video series
