US Secretary of State Antony Blinken met with Chinese President Xi Jinping on June 19, 2023, wrapping up his pivotal two-day trip to Beijing. Blinken and Xi agreed to stabilise relations between the world’s two largest economies. Before meeting Xi, Blinken also held discussions with Chinese Foreign Minister Qin Gang and diplomat Wang Yi.
