If you have a video clip that you need to play in reverse, for whatever reason, this is the guide to doing this using Filmora.

In this video, I will show you how I took my YouTube end screen, which features someone turning a camera on, and play it backward (using Filmora) so that it looks like he's turning the camera off (which is more fitting for an end screen.)

To reverse a video using Filmora, you can follow these steps:

1.) Open Filmora and import the video you want to reverse by clicking on "Import" or "Import Media Files."

2.) Drag the video to the timeline at the bottom of the screen.

3.) Right-click on the video and select "Speed and Duration."

4.) In the "Speed" field, enter a negative number (e.g. -100).

5.) Click "OK" to apply the changes.

6.) Export the reversed video by clicking on "Export" and choosing your desired format and settings.

Note: The above steps may vary depending on the version of Filmora you are using. Kindly refer to the Filmora user manual for more information on how to reverse a video in your version.

I like keeping my how-to videos on the short side because I know when I'm trying to learn something new, I don't have the time to learn unnecessary details. This is the idea behind this channel, so this video ended up being pretty short. If you like this style, do consider subscribing to my channel. It helps creators like me and you'll get a bunch of tech how-to videos without the extra fluff.

If you have any questions on editing with Filmora or are having issues reversing footage, comment below and I'd be happy to help.
