Kobe Bryant discusses growing up the son of an NBA player and getting his competitive nature from his mom. Kobe and his father would play games against each other, which ended up with his father as the victor. When Bryant finally beat his father, they never played again. Although his toughness came from those pick-up games, his competitiveness came from his mother. Bryant describes how his mom fouled him when they played a game, so he dunked on her the next time.; taped in 2012
