A short survey of polar sine roses, animations of rose curves using linear interpolation.
Using linear interpolation, we give a short survey of polar sine roses. In the animations of rose curves, each sine rose emerges from a tightly wound rational rose curve to form a simple polar sine rose. The transformation between curves is accomplished with linear interpolation using wxMaxima to code the animation.
