How to Add More Depth to Your Landscape Photography in Lightroom + Photoshop
Adding depth to your photography is easier than you think, but most photographers are unknowingly making the wrong changes to their photo and getting rid of the depth.
Most landscape photographers overuse the contrast slider, adding way too much global contrast to their image, which absolutely kills the depth of their photos. Instead, you want to add local contrast to the foreground, and remove it from the background. This helps show depth in your image because it will make the background elements of your photo appear further away, showing depth.
