Apologies for calling this Episode 17! In Episode 18 we at last assault the Stag Lord's Fort and clear it entirely. This is the "Act 1 Boss" and is known to be something of a difficulty spike. Just to show off this is done in 1 rest and in Ironman style with no quickloading, at the same Challenging Difficulty we started at of course. Due to the vargaries of the dice we unfortunately did not get the Owlbear to help out due to a very low roll (failed a DC18 check with Lore nature 14) but that is how the dice go sometimes. If we had been successful in passing that Lore (Nature) Check to calm the owlbear it would have been recruited to fight the Stag Lord with you.

I show off uses for the Fey Sorcerer spell Entangle in a couple of instances which is an under-untilised spell in my opinion. At risk of sounding boastful I consider this to be a near-perfect "Ironman-style" run of the Stag Lord, with very little damage taken overall (Dovan got us good though).

In case anyone was getting palpatations watching me ignore loot, well, who has time to stop to loot bodies in the middle of an assault ;) I clear the loot in the next video. This is my particular style of clear then loot rather than do both simultaneously. Crucially, this helps save precious time on our short buffs.
