Performance was measured with all the same single Wi-Fi connected device to standardize the testing to the Ubiquiti UniFi 6 Long-range ( U6-LR ).
The testing was done just a few feet away on the U6 LR and was configured to have a single SSID just for Wi-Fi 6 testing with a single WiFi 6 device to test with.

As long as you stay in 5G band and have a WiFi 6 enabled device, the speed is faster than my previous access point the SHD. With the Ubiquiti UniFi 6 Long Range, you have the option to increase the frequency width up to 160 MHz, which will give you a theoretical transfer rate of 2400 Mbps, although the Gigabit Ethernet port limits the overall performance. The 4x4 design doesn't offer many benefits for a small family, but multi-user MIMO environment will take advantage of this when multiple users are accessing the access point at the same time.
