VT-4 vs T-90MS | Latest tanks comparison
T-90MS is an export version of T-90M which is a modernized version of the T-90 main battle tank built by Uralvagonzavod. The tank is being proposed for the Russian Army and potential export customers. The Russian tank was first demonstrated during the Russian Expo Arms in Nizhny Tagil in September 2011. On the contrary, VT-4, a Chinese tank, is an export version of MBT-3000 designed and manufactured by NORINCO. The Chinese VT-4 was unveiled for the first time to the public at the International Defense Exhibition Eurosatory in June 2012 one year after T-90MS was revealed. Since both the tanks are developed in the same period and are export variants a comparison between VT-4 and T-90MS is logical. Both tanks, including Russian T-90MS and Chinese VT-4, are competing with each other in the international market along with the T-84 oplot from Ukraine, but Kiev's inability to complete the orders demerits the oplot.
