It’s summer! And what comes with summer, but a dancefloor mover? Nolan & Serge Santiago are our back to the rave anthem with “6am”.
After the success of “It’s A Trap”, we are very excited to welcome Nolan back into the Mobilee fold. Adding more fuel to this fire, Serge Santiago continues his Mobilee journey after his recent remix of AFFKT “Let It Burn”, we’re a fan.
In “6am”, they lay down a jumping composition full of energetic drums, tightly layered sounds and a growling bassline that combine with Mazi’s vocal story, a 2007 classic on Brique Rouge, into a joyful 7 minutes that will allow us to transcend from normality, finally… “This is not a test”.
Fastforward 6 hours, and we enter the hazy sunrise with “Drifter”, as Nolan joins forces with Forrest, a hugely accomplished vocalist (Get Physical, 20/20 Vision, Moon Harbour) providing a perfect soundtrack to the mellowing of minds and openness to experience that is easy to drift into, thanks to swelling synths and breathy tones.
