Buses key to building Edmonton regional hydrogen economy
The Edmonton region is building a hydrogen (H2) economy. Because H2 is new for non-industrial use, the region has to build supply and demand at the same time, a tricky balancing act. The H2 bus pilot project with the City of Edmonton and surrounding municipalities is the start of that process. City of Edmonton Branch Manager of Fleet and Facility Services Eddie Robar says H2 buses operate in the cold better than battery-electric buses.
