Two of the most famous and visited beaches in Rio de Janeiro: Ipanema and Leblon!
Ipanema beach is 2.6 km long and is close to the Leblon district, a complement to it, being one of the most famous beaches in the city. Ipanema inspired composer Vinícius de Moraes when he released the song Garota de Ipanema, for which Tom Jobim was responsible for the melody.
In addition to being a traditional meeting point for residents and tourists, the beach is used for the practice of various sports. Among the favorite activities are skiboard surfing, paddleball, volleyball, soccer, footvolley.
Leblon is known for its beach, one of the most popular and quiet stretches of sand in the city. The surrounding streets are tree-lined and have restaurants ranging from cozy French bistros to lively steakhouses, as well as quiet bars for beer and caipirinhas. Shopping options include designer boutiques and the modern Shopping Leblon. Teatro do Leblon is a fundamental place for an eclectic program.
