In this video I show a very easy solution to fix any popping, crackling or freezing you might be getting with FL's ASIO. Normally this is fixed by increasing your buffer size but in this case that wasn't helping, but I read a very obscure fix on Reddit that suggested changing your input device (even if you aren't actively using any at the time). Sure enough it worked!
