HMS Queen Elizabeth sails from Portsmouth for post-maintenance work up

After being delayed for two days due to a handful of COVID-19 cases, HMS Queen Elizabeth sailed from Portsmouth with six 820 NAS Merlin helicopters on deck. She undertook a Recovery and Trials Period and Ship's Performance Assessment to ensure all equipment is functioning correctly.
She returned to Portsmouth on 13th September and sails for exercise Joint Warrior and the Carrier Strike GROUPEX on 21st September
