About 3 months ago I had made a video about how a BIOS update on my MSI Z690 Unify motherboard that totally corrupted or messed up my the RAID0 setup on my board, and I talked about some way to possibly fix it. Link to previous video here: • How To Fix Unbootable Device RAID0 Se...
Fast forward to today (02/08/23) there was another motherboard bios update that I was a bit leery about updating to, and unfortunately my suspicions were right, it does in fact corrupt the raid 0 setup on drives like the previous bios update did. All I can advise to do, is DO NOT UPDATE your bios at all, especially if running a raid 0 setup on your motherboard unless you are installing a whole new OS on it, which is essentially what you'll have to do when updating the bios now it seems.
I hope this is helpful to some people out there.
**Update:
I want update on this as of 06/01/23, the MSI bios files that are now on MSI website no longer mess up raid 0 setups. I would still backup your files though before updating, just I'm case. But I did update my bios with the April 2023 update file, and everything worked as it should thankfully.
