Insert Data from a Picture 📷 in Excel!
Often, we're given reports or have offline data that we must transfer to our online spreadsheets.
Manually entering in that data will take minutes, hours, or days depending on how much data there is. Luckily, there's an Excel feature that makes it easy to upload your data into an Excel spreadsheet by simply taking a picture on your phone.
Here's how 👇
1. Click on the screen in the bottom left navigation
2. Then, click the Grid with the camera over it. It's currently the fifth button from the right.
3. Take a picture of your data, preferrably structured as a table.
4. Excel will be 'Extracting Table'
5. Excel will preview your data. You can Open Anyway or Review All to make sure it's formatted & uploaded correctly.
Inserting data from a picture or image in Excel can be useful for uploading grades, sales reports, loan information, and all types of data.
