The Lord of Eroded Primal Fire is a new Weekly Trounce Domain boss that was released as part of Genshin Impact's 5.3 update to the Natlan story which closes out the main portion of Natlan's Archon quests.
The Lord of Eroded Primal Fire is a rather annoying boss. It's got a lot of huge AoEs that basically make it so that active engagement with the boss is heavily discouraged outside of designated DPS phases. Additionally, this boss heavily favors only certain units due to the nature of its pylon phase, which essentially forces you to bring a team that is capable of dealing enough elemental hits to the pylons within a certain amount of time otherwise you die. This boss also heavily favors Pyro Traveler, but even they are not enough for the pylon phase alone. Aside from that, this boss is fairly simple so long as you focus on avoiding attacks and only taking the chance to deal damage when you can.

MANDATORY UNITS:
Basically, Pyro Traveler or Chasca. It will be hard to clear the pylon phase with other units without using a full team's resources.

Pyro Traveler (Made for this fight and this fight alone)
Xiangling (Pyro + Insane Damage)
Kachina (Good movement speed on Turbo Twirly + Nightsoul for the Pylons)
Noelle (Shield)
Ororon (Nightsoul)
Chasca (Best for Pylons)
Zhongli (Shield)
Mavuika (Usable for Pylons)
MAYBE DON'T BRING THESE UNITS:
Technically nobody but your team composition options are heavily limited by the pylons phase. Bring people with lots of elemental attacks.
