"Hey everyone! A correction needs to be made on what the JHS Overdrive Preamp has replicated. JHS' Overdrive Preamp is actually a faithful replication of the original big box DOD Overdrive Preamp. The slider lets you choose between two variations of the first version's clipping arrangement. In the down position, which is the more distorted and saturated of the two, is the earliest version ever found ("#75"), and the up position uses a clipping arrangement found in later serial numbers (still v1 though)."
